Mixed Fruit Salad

DESSERT
The passion fruit has been added to this recipe since we have passion fruit vines in our garden. We enjoy the extra tang.

Ingredients
4 ozs 125 gms dried apricots
4 ozs 125 gms dried prunes
4 ozs 125 gms dried figs
1 pt 600 mls natural orange juice or apple juice
2 passion fruit
4 ozs 125 gms walnut halves
Method
Soak dried fruit in juice overnight. Transfer to a pan with the passion fruit, and warm gently for 10 minutes. Do Not boil.
Serve warm sprinkled with walnut halves.
Serves 4 people.
Maybe served with custard or coconut cream.
Serve as a sweet or for breakfast.
