Vegetable Hot-Pot

MAIN COURSE
Ingredients
2 onions, sliced
4 large potatoes, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
2 sticks celery, sliced
8 ozs 225 gms tin baked beans
1 ozs 25 gms vegan margarine
salt and pepper
1 Dsp Marmite
1 pt 600 mls hot water
1 ozs 25 gms sesame seeds
Method
Melt the margarine and fry the onions until golden brown.
Use a 2 pt 1 Lt oven-proof dish. Arrange half the sliced potaotes on the bottom. Layer the carrots, celery, onions, beans, and seasoning. On the top arrange a layer of potatoes. Mix the Marmite with the hot water and pour over. Sprinkle with seasme seeds.
Cover and cook at 400F, 200C, Gas Mark 6 for 1-2 hours.
Serve with green vegetable or a salad.
Serves 4 people.
