Blackberry Sauce

This recipe came from a chef in Kuwait. You can use a variety of fruit.
4 ozs 125 g blackberries or fruit of choice
1 ozs 25 g cornflour
2 ozs 50g sugar
Place fruit in a pan and heat until juices run freely. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Mix the cornflour with a little water until smooth and runny. Pour into sauce and stir continuously until sauce thickens.
These fruit sauces are good over a variety of desserts. Also good with custard or porridge.
