Tomatoes Spiced

This dish adds sauce and flavour to a meal.

14 oz 400g tin tomatoes
1 clove garlic, crushed in 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 pt vegetable stock
Put all the ingredients into a pan and simmer until the mixture is thick and pulpy.
Alternatively instead of garlic use 1/2 tsp allspice.
