Runner Beans and Almonds

A recipe from Carla in the UK. I can remember the runner beans picked fresh from her garden.
1 lb 450g runner beans
4 Tblsp oil
4 ozs 100g flaked almond
Steam the beans until tender.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the almonds until lightly brown.
Pour the almonds over the beans and serve hot.
Serves 4 people.
