Grapefruit and Apple

This is a recipe from a friend, Sue, in England.
It makes a lovely starter or an accompanying
1 tin grapefruit segments, drained
juice of 1 lemon
3 green apples, thinly sliced
1 cucumber, sliced
2 sticks of celery, chopped
6 spring onions, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Place the grapefruit segments in a bowl.
Sprinkle the lemon juice over the apple slices.
Add the apples and cucumber to the grapefruit.
Top with the chopped celery and onions. Season.
Cover with a dressing of choice. (Several dressings have been blogged.)
Serves 4 people.
