Croutons with Salad

2 large slices of bread (preferably stale), trimmed
oil for frying
1 clove garlic
1 lettuce
1/2 a cucumber
4 Tblsp French Dressing (Blogged 15.4.11)
4 spring onions
1 Tblsp chopped parsley
Dice bread and fry until golden. Drain. Rub the salad bowl with the garlic. Shred the lettuce into the bowl and slice cucumber and spring onions.
Toss all the ingredients in the French Dressing and serve.
Serves 4 people.
